Mechanical Tradesperson/Civil Operator

The Role
- Dual maintenance/operating role
- Service, maintain & operate fleet of civil equipment
- Monday to Thursday dayshift-only roster
- Role based in Mt Morgan. Be home with your family every night! 30 minutes to Rockhampton
- Casual role
Qualifications & Experience
- Trade qualifications in Diesel Fitting or similar
- Experience operating a variety of civil equipment – multi-disciplines preferred – e.g. grader, excavator, loader, roller, HR water truck etc.
- Current driver’s licence
- Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical
- Current Construction Industry White Card

The Role
- Permanent full-time position – 7:7 dayshift only roster
- Based at WGQ Town Workshop, Blackwater
- Camp accommodation available
- Undertake the inspection, diagnosis, repair & maintenance of ancillary plant & equipment – e.g. body trucks, tractors, skid steers, trailers, generators, etc.
Qualifications & Experience
- Mechanical Trade qualifications – e.g. diesel fitter; mechanical fitter; automotive mechanic or similar
- Relevant previous experience working on ancillary equipment
- Current driver’s licence – HR class preferred
- Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical
- Current Construction Industry White Card
